i need some good clean beach areas to go to on a honeymoon...

and not super expensive..

i was going to go to the Dominican Republic... all inclusive for 2500... or puerto rico... and possibly miami or clearwater...

what are some other ideas or places you have gone that were clean and fun for a couple?

my requirements- palm trees.... clean beach... clean water

Depends what you consider cheap and what time of year you plan on honeymooning.

You can fly to Cozumel and stay in an all-inclusive resort for >$1000/person.

I liked the all inclusive cuz then you don't need any money while away unless you leave the complex......However -- you may want to choose a resort with more than 1 restaurant included in the all inclusive for variety in the food you eat....

Cancun when I went was $850 all inclusive for a week, had 6 restaurants with good food, BUT the resort had live peacocks which were LOUD at 5 am and you had to sign for all your drinks.....a pain when in the pool

Don't go to Cancun from mid March till around mid/end of April --- Spring break....

Key West and Miami are expensive and I don't think there are any all inclusives there...

Oh and with All inclusives -- they DON'T have a variety of beer if you are a beer drinker......usually 1 or 2 only

I also stayed at Sunset Beach Resort & Spa in montego Bay Jamaica -- nice place, small, food was pretty good, limited on beers, not much to do outside of complex, nudie beach, was good for a weekend

I've also Been to the Virgin Islands, Bermuda, Bahamas.....

Where do you find out about theses all inclusive trips, im ready to go on a vacation!!!

Online, a travel agent......

All inclusive just means all your food, drinks, etc are included in the price you pay...

Good cuz you don't need any money....l

Could be bad if you like different beers or restaurants or really like to go out on the town,.....

Just got a price for 8 days / 7nights...all inclusive for a family of 3, at $1900, to La Romana in the Dominican Republic. Flying out of NY, non-stop. Here is the Hotel:

I would also check out Punta Cana as well. Cancun and Bahamas is always a hit. but i would stay with the all inclusive packages. I received a huge bill at the end of my cruise and will probably never cruise again.

My cousin owns an apple vacation store. Not saying you have to buy from him...but if you need me to ask him anything...let me know.

2ez -- Cruises are NOT all inclusive......the alcohol is NOT included in the price of the cruise, the food is......

The large bill at the end of a cruise is for any excursions you take and alcohol/drinks on a cruise....

With an all-inclusive resort, the drinks are included in the price along with airfare, transfers, food, hotel......just not side trips...

All inclusives are GREAT if you are a big drinker and don't mind drinking the (mostly) mixed drinks they will serve along with the 2-3 local beers.....

Jamaica, Hawaii (Maui), or somewhere in Mexico. In those places I know you can find resorts that are quiet, relaxed, and not in the middle of a busy city. Ideal settings for a honeymoon in my opinion.
