USPS Express (next day) vs. Priority (2-3 days)

Is there any greater risk sending overnight as opposed to priority in terms of search and seizure restrictions? I've seen sources say to send priority and not express (usps) and was wondering if there was any reason for it.

yes

Express tends to need to be signed off on ( unless waived) or at least the driver must hand it to someone in person ( this is not always the case but frequently is Dependant on the personality of the driver)

I also believe express can be opened without cause ( someone else needs to confirm this who knows for sure)

2-3 day they will just leave it at door step or in box

That is correct. Express mail can be opened without just cause or warrant and is more proned for a signature.

yup they can just rip that bitch open just because they feel like it if its express...

yes express scared the shit out of me..
I expected it to come the next day with the reg mail...instead it came to me at 8 am by a mail man in a van rather then in the jeep style truck.. I said boy that was fast he said yea you sure need it in a hurry and with express we get it here.I just replied oh yes I need it to fix my computer with out the chip i cant run my online bussiness and I lose money. He just said well here it is (shuffling around in the back of the van)i was looking around up and down the block for police or unmarked. Then he handed it to me and i asked do i need to sighn he said no its been waived .then i figured it was cool

4. Can Postal Inspectors open mail if they feel it may contain something illegal?
First-Class letters and parcels are protected against search and seizure under the Fourth Amendment to the Constitution, and, as such, cannot be opened without a search warrant. If there is probable cause to believe the contents of a First-Class letter or parcel violate federal law, Postal Inspectors can obtain a search warrant to open the mailpiece. Other classes of mail do not contain private correspondence, and therefore may be opened without a warrant.

bbkingpin man u are doing some good research but the best way my cuz had no problem was sending it 2 his cuzins house or next store neighbors. .
he lived in cali. and delivered to chicago he would overnight it from the fed x and send it to what i said above
cuzin house- call and make sure she isnt home.Have a friend go pick it up cuz overnight usually is there b4 noon and friend would pick up package "1lb of herb" straight up cali. purple haze
anyways he wouldnt put insurance which means the fed x guy just drops it and leaves

now the neighbors.
my cuzin would know what time his neighbor would leave always i guess around 730 and come home by 5-6 so he would wake up at 8am and watch tv smoke some ?and wait for the loud truck pull up with his famous package and all done
crazy shit but very true
another 1
cuz meet a girl online she said she would send him some smoke for the price of 275 for a "o.z = 28grams" he said fine but hows it wrk she said send the money to a off shore account or something 4get and the n she gets the money 2 the paypal and let him no with in minutes of sending
he did and he woke up b4 12 and had it there
everytime my cuz ran out he emailed her and he had it by noon everytime for 3months about 3times aweek
it would come in a yellow bag the size of a vhs tape witha vacuum sealed bag
of pure blueberry
crazy shit but overnight i would say is the best but every1 has therer own apinun
neways good luck

USPS cannot open any packs without a just cause. Fedex and UPS are privately owned so they can open whatever, whenever.

However, don’t let that give you a false sense of security. If something is suspicions (such as the return or destination address) they can open it. They just have to have a reasonable cause. Just a like a cop who pulls you over for a search.

The reason sources should not ship Express is the following –

Every UPS station has cameras, and every express shipment is recorded for the exact date and time it is shipped. The forms are kept on file, and those can be matched up with video (if need be). Priority is much safer, and carries no paper train. The only thing connected to the Delivery Confirmation # & is a ZIP code, unlike express which records all information.

Express leaves a paper, and a video trail. Any careful source should never ship express. Shipping express increases your chance of getting caught BIGTIME. Still, this is really only a concern for the source, and not really the customer. Feds don’t care about a vial of test, or a kit of GH. They always want the big fish.

Bottom line - If a fed wanted to place a fluff order, they would have a hell of an easier time catching the source who ships express, than who does not.

no wonder even the domestic sources do not offer express or next day delivery... most of the domestic sources.

Bro:
You were talking about Fedex, not US Postal Service. USPS is operated by the government of the USA, therefore constrained by USA Constitution and search and seizure laws. The private carriers, DHL, Fedex, UPS, can open packs for any reason, their is no USA Constitutional protection. So your initial reply was, with all due respect, "apples and oranges."

That's a shame. But, hopefully, it's aimed at preventing terrorists from operating using our mail (as if they would be sending each other letters in the USA).
"to conduct searches in exigent circumstances, such as to protect human life and safety against hazardous materials" -- hopefully this applies to anthrax (and the like) aimed at harming others, as opposed to anabolics which are taken voluntarily and whose harm is debatable ("everything in moderation"). It also said "exigent circumstances", which means emergencies. Which means they don't have to wait for a judge to sign a warrant when the FBI is following a lead and knows of a possible hazard (i.e., terrorism), and doesn't have the time to get in front of a judge, and try to convince him of probable cause as to why a warrant is necessary.

Let's give George Bush the credit he deserves and does not get. No one immediately after 9/11/01 thought we would be free from another attack as late as 04/15/07 and although Iraq war has been going on longer than WW2, and 3300 deaths is regrettable (100,000 wounded even more regrettable), we lost 400,000 in WW2, more than that in Civil War (1.5 million on both sides, North and South), and I don't think the President has completely wiped out the 4th amendment provisions of the Constitution. The only potential abuse is if he were to go after aas under the guise of going after terrorists. And that has never been alleged and I doubt he is very concerned with bros on EF in proportion to what is going on in foreign affairs.
