USPS Express letter ?

I sent something out 11/4 USPS Express mail and it should have arrived today 11/5 at the delivery address. I have sent the same Express letter 25 times and it always is there on time the next day . This one still only shows the origin drop off scan. It hasnt left the post office. This was NY to CA

many times those fuckers will do it two day and make you pay for overnight. did it to me so many times i can't even count. from FL to NY BTW.......how the fuck is that so hard? i got a big ass airport a few miles from my house too. if it don't turn up tomorrow....then i'd worry. maybe the online site hasn't updated yet too....maybe it is there already. unless you know it hasn't arrived.............

that type of letter goes by FEDEX... USPS priority mail and express mail is shipped by FDX planes... A lot of times there are problems on USPS side... It can take few days to get there... Saw that happen before...

by the way... USPS web site info is updated on next business day, so you can forget about checking status on 11/4... Fedex and UPS are almost up-to-minute or so... USPS tracking system sucks...

Using USPS Express Mail from NY to Cali is definitely a guaranteed 2-day delivery bro. Color yourself lucky that the packages got there in 1 day before, because that isn't common these days. It will be there tomorrow.

Usually 90% of the time is shows me the progress of the letter. this still only shows the origin post office scan. It's been almost 48 hrs

I see the RussianBro said the tracking sucks I agree. For me in the past it has updated all day long. This is what makes me worry it's lost or something

dont count on the updates online as we have all mentioned. email or call the receiver and see what is up! that is what i do. just keep communication with the other end of it, and all should go well. USPS knows they better not lose an express item.....they would be accountable for that big time. they take care of those things usually in my experience.

They update it nightly. It should be there today, and if it isn't updated by then, there could be a problem. Possibly a flagged addy.

How does a flagged address work

Does a flagged address work when the package is mailed out or just when it attempted to be delivered to it.

flagged just means that the address is being watched for suspicious shit. and the good stuff is checked out........ and snagged. so it would only "work" once it got to the city of destination. since its not like they know you are sending it to a flagged address when you mail it out.

Unless his return address was flagged as well in the City of delivery, and then forwarded back to the US Postal Inspector in this guys reigon. Assuming he uses the same return addy every time, and these are indeed the circumstances at hand, his return addy could be flagged as well, and thus the reason it never made it out of the city.
