Using CYP in your PCT....

ok so my buddy ran a cycle, came off, did his pct.... he got his blood work done 2 weeks following his pct... His test levels were a bit low.

His doctor being fairly educated in the endo system perscribed him 2 100mg cyp shots spaced a week apart and told him to get his levels checked 3 weeks after..

His test levels returned to exactly normal.

Any thoughts on this one?

That is HRT not PCT. HRT is permanent. How old is he?

no no, the doctor just prescribed that for a 2 shot go. nothing longer than that. Not looking to put him on any kind of hrt.

Hormone replacement therapy. Its what you get prescribed for chronically low test levels.

the thing is his test levels were just a bit below normal, nothing diratstic, and i'm fairly certain that he tells his doc everything about his cycles...

does anyone understand why the doc would have put him on 2 100mg shots spaced a week apart?

What the hell was he doing get blood taken TWO WEEKS after a cycle? PCT should have been 3-6 weeks depending on the length of the cycle.

You "friend" doesn't know what the hell he is doing. Tell him to read the sticky's in the PCT forum.

the blood work was done 2 weeks following a proper pct of hcg/nolva/arimidex.

that was an easy out for the doc haha....no shit your test levels will be normal after 2 100g test shots! But it sure won't be normal 3 weeks after the last test shot.

basically, with those 2 test shots, your friend just shut himself down again.... once that exogenous test wears off, he's back to square one again!

he may have to consider running P C T again at that point... or just wait it out and allow the body to normalize

people don't realize that it takes LONGER than a few weeks to a couple months to recover!
