Used/cheap dumbbells

Anyone know where I can get some used or cheap adjustable dumbbells? I was looking at the Iron-master series but I don't think I can afford them right now. They are upgradable though and that's a good thing. The Bowflex dumbbells are okay but they're only 50 lbs and can't go any higher. I'm a college student so I need something that'll be a good price and last a while too.

Any suggestions? Oh, and I'm new (obviously) and the forum is great!

if i was you i'd definitely check out E-Bay...i'm sure you can get a couple dumbells for pretty cheap there...better than checking at a store or anything where you will be overcharged...

Weight equiment is NOT usually cheaper on eBay once postage is taken into account!

I would reccomend getting these:

Its a pair of olympic size dumbells with clips for about $90 and then get a pile of 10 and 5 and 2.5lb plates (maybe 200lbs for $100) and away you go. You can have quality dumbells weighing up to about 100lbs each for under $200 total. If you need more then just add a little to the budget...
