Used car advice

I'm in the boat for another car now. My transmission just died in my Grand Prix. I'm hoping I can find something decent (not total piece of shit) used for 2000 or less. That's about all I'm going to be able to spend.

It has 295,500 miles on it. I'm afraid that I will fix the transmission, then the engine goes. I just had a new radiator put in the fucker 3 days ago and dropped half a grand in that.

I figured if I found a Celica or a Honda for 2000 with maybe a little body damage with 100-160,000 miles on it, I could run it without too many problems for the next year or two (until my current financial situation stabilizes).

OW! $410/mo for 48 months and then re-finance? You could get a new ricer for that kind of money.

refinance after 8 months is what they said, not after 48,48 is the total term

If you're gonna put that much money into a basic car, the least you should have done is put it towards a car that will retain its value a whole lot better.

Ie.... HONDA OR TOYOTA! Why a Pontiac Grand Am??? The value of that piece of shit car (and all Pontiac's for that matter) will drop faster then you can flush your money down the toilet.

:lmao: I am going to report this quote the first time you post a thread about the grand am breaking down. You always have a choice if the place was going to finace you it would have been for anything with in the same price range on the lot. Can't tell me there wasn't a honda or a toyota on the lot. Seiously if you going to get raped like that on the financing should have went with something that holds its value.
