"what is the Water requirement to decontam each soldier in the field ?

It was dozens of gallons per, and came up to 10's of thousands for a sizable number..

The Interviewer gasped and rhetorically asked

weather or not we attack Iraq or not, there will still be terrorist attacks, attacking Iraq only eliminates a bunch of potentials.

If Sadaam resorts to attacking us with chemicals, we nuke him, his loss.

If we had done this war immediately following Sadaams support of what happened on 9/11 I bet a lot more poeple would be in support of war. Also when it comes to Israel, yes we do support them. However, they are on our leash. They are far technologicaly superior, and it is US preventing them from demonstrating that. I think you have it backwards Austin. Israel is the one calling the shots here. One of the main reasons for going to war is to protect Israel.

There is also a large contingent of Jewish fanatics within government, whose first allegiance is now and always has been to Israel. They help shape these insane policies.

I don't believe the Iraqis will fight. Here's why.

Saddam's dictatorship is a classic up side down triangle. His inner circle and 30,000 strong Special Republican Guard are all members of his tribe from Tikrit. All the top brass and the business elite are either related to Saddam or rely on his patronage. Everyone else not a member of the regime has nothing to lose and everything to gain by getting rid of Saddam. Why would they fight? They fell over themselves surrendering last time. What's different now? Saddam will retreat to Tikrit if he makes a stand, not Baghdad, where Saddam's country ass never belonged and where the list of Iraqis who want revenge on him is a mile long. Wherever he goes I doubt the Americans will ever capture Saddam ahead of vengeful Iraqis.

You have a point about a missile on Israel. Anyone who thinks the Israelis are on a leash doesn't understand their mindset one bit.

The Sharon quote has been proved fake a long time ago.

The Army has been training for NBC for a long time, but the NBC gear is not exactly in tip top shape. However, being inside a vehicle reduces much of the NBC threat, and that is where fighters will spend most of their time.

The point was already made about Saddam's unpreparedness to launch a NBC attack, but who knows if he can or not. The point about the effectiveness of a chem attack was also a good one. These weapons are vastly overrated.

Bill O'Reilly doesn't know a lot about VietNam. And that crazy bastard went to my high school.

Ultimately I think the world is a better place without Saddam. Believe me the dictators in Iran and Saudi will notice. More importantly, so will the people.

The Iraq invasion will take about 4 days. International community will get involved in rebuilding and reduce the cost. It will be a very expensive proposition and I think our economy is in the long term doldrums here, because governments at all levels cannot manage money AND power. Look at all the state-level government problems. Eventually there has to be an accounting for it.

I have no issues with going alone. North Korea is another issue but it shows why we can go alone if we must. That is a real danger, and we need to confront it. Notice how the rest of the world is saying "the US and N korea need to have a dialogue." No other countries are very eager to get involved with that issue. But iraq, well, god forbid we go alone.

International community is mostly frauds, and Bush is taking them to task.

Hell if we don't bomb him now then we're only hurting ourselves in the end. Cause if you don't think he's not hiding ALOT of bio/chemical wepaons that we haven't found then you're nieve. And he'll use them on us eventually if we don't act now. I think most of ya'll would just rather wait around till he drops a bomb on us till we do something about it.
