US needs to stop supporting Israel

Ever stop to think the bible is nothing more then a compilation of stories, bigbadbuff? Is it possible that blind faith alone isn't "proof" of the existance of a god? What makes your religion that has been proven wrong over and over by facts, common sense and science right compared to any other religion which christianity will state is false?

That's not so. No person with a sound mind wants anyone to die. However, the Palestinians are not innocent victims. They are raising their children to become suicide bombers as if that's a good thing.

Call Endtime ministries at 1800ENDTIME and ask about the video they should have on the media's spin on the middle east (couldn't find it online, but not everything gets posted).

It details how the media spins so much junk out of the middle east to show the PLO saying one thing when they really say another. Claiming to want peace in a speach that propagates war. Terrorism is bad, but even the UN says it's okay when used by people like the PLO against Israel. Huh? No. Gurrella Warfare is what you often resort to. Terrorism isn't a legitimate means of war. The former targets military and government. The latter targets civilians.

SolidRock, as someone else pointed out in part, it's in the Bible. Don't have time to do a specific scripture reference right now as I have to get out soon.

IanStuart, the Bible is true. I know that because the spirit of God resides within me when I was born-again. It's a matter of faith, but God has since given me enough proof that I am comfortable in trusting in all that book promises will come to pass and what it has to say about what has been and what is.

I will just mention that Israel remains the only democracy in the Middle east.

Another good point worth hearing is that Egypt and Saudi Arabia combined got more money than Israel last year. So the Arab world is getting their share from Uncle Sam.

As for the dumbass who said there was no Islamic terrorism before Israel, look up the Almohad Moors and how they disturbed the Muslim/Christian/Jew balance that was working so well on the Iberian Peninsula about 1150-1250.

People need to realize there's TWO entities

Al Qaeda which are plain murderers and terrorists

and

Arabs fighting for their own land and rights and freedoms (palestinians).

Oh OK there are only two entities? Hamas? Hezbollah? Who are they? Palestinians aren't really Arabs. Al Qaeda is not especially active in the Palestinians movement. It's more hamas and Hezbollah as that goes.

I think we are all unanimous in hating Al Qaeda. If there was a US group that went over and started killing mulsims and afghans and trying to scare the PLO. Technically we will condone it, but underneath it we would be like "Yeah! kill our enemy!". That's how Arabs think of Al Qaeda. They don't like suicide bombers, but if it's fighting for it's cause, so be it.

So suicide bombing is OK if it supports a cause? September 11th was OK because it was for a cause? As long as anyone recognizes suicide attacks on civilians as a means for fighting for a cause, those people do not deserve national sovereignty. You can't call yourself a 'civilization' when your disregard for life is so flagrant.

I hate Al Qaeda, but I DO understand why Arabs and Mulsims would hate us. That's because we support THEIR enemy. Can you blame them. If i saw a poor palestinian tomorrow who has no future, no job, no skills, can't go out past 10pm, can't migrate or vacation in any country (cuz no one would dare allow a palestinian muslim to enter theri country, think about it), and has all his freedoms taken away by Isreali Soldiers armed with American machine guns --- yes i would apologize to him. For he's an *innocent* person who has done no wrong except be born in that land. And it's unjust for MY government to stick it's head into it and try to OPRESS him for no reason except that he's not a *jew*.

First of all, the idea that palestinains can't go elsewhere is just completely untrue. Interestingly (although not really relevant) there are still laws on the books that Jews can't live in Australia (though quite a number do) and Spain just repealed their laws keeping Jews out in 1996.

The styate of Israel was formed, in fact, by US/England forcing it through the UN. Why? neither country wanted the jews to immigrate. After WW2 England flat out said NO! whereas the US was reticent. Many appeals were made to FDR during WW2. No one could blame him - he was winning the war. Anyway, my point is there aren't any restrictions imposed by neighboring countries to keep Palestinains out. But a similar policy toward the Jews has a lot to do with this crisis.

Our governemnt doesn't oppress anyone over there. In fact, we gave more money to Egypt and Saudi Arabia last year than to Israel. The idea that America is oppressing anyone is the same stupid crap that Yasser and has ilk use to justify the continued suicide attacks. It is believed by uneducated masses in the Middle east. No surprise you believe it too, I suppose.

Funny, in America we ALL act as americans. Black, White, etc. But in THAT area -- it's either jews or arabs. And the Isreali government THEMSELVES distinguish betwene the two. That whole area is racist and proud of it. If America acted like Israeli and patrolled predominately black areas with tanks, and stopped every middle eastern guy in a car, and never allowed certain types of people to go past certain boundaries -- how would u feel?

LOL! Actually, the Israel government does not discriminate. The Israel government allows native born Muslims to vote...something they are unable to do in any other Middle eastern country. Show me a Middle eastern country other than israel where a Jew can vote.

These young muslim youths grow up with nothing to look forward to, can never be CEO's of their hot technology company, can never go to NYC and enroll in university, can never hope to buy a corvette, can never vacation in hawaii -- yet see lucky jewish kids 20 miles north who can do all that. That disgust and hatred and compassion for the cause only grows from that towards the rich jews. And yes, that's where that "rich jews who control everyhting" stereotype came from. It's how muslim in Israel talk about the native jews.

If you think those stereotypes about the Jews came fm that, then you are just one uninformed motherfucker. That stereoptype dates back to the renaissance, when christians could not act as bankers because of strict relgious laws. jews financed the beginning of international trade because they were able to loan capital to various enterprises which required higher startup costs (shipping, primitive insurance etc.)

As for the opportunities that israelis have - that is a functionof a culture that values education, democracy and life, not suicide bombers and terrorism.
