***URGENT***drug test today

Hey guys, I had a urine test today. I've been off my cycle for 3.5 weeks. First the nurse did one of those piss screens with the test strip. I watched her as it changed colors, she looked at if funny and then wrote something on the paper. Then she took me to another room to wait for the doctor and she asked me if I was taking steriods! I told her no and asked her why she would even ask me that. She then said " how do you get your muscle mass?" I told her I take protein shakes and creatine. So I am worried shitless about this cuz its a test for a job and I don't know if anything will show up positive. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Wow she actually asked u. Shit u must be a big dude. Standard drug tests dont test for AAS, but if they have suspicion, they may spend the money to test for it.

Well, nobody here will be able to do anything but guess since we don't know what was tested for. Typically the employer will tell you what is being tested for. However, most employers don't test for anabolics because it is much more expensive than for recreational drugs.

I hope you tested negative.

Your urine sample must have been high in urea...

Unless it is specifically a doping test then you have little to worry about.

The thing that gets me is, I'm not all that big. I'm only 5'11" and 181. The only thing I know is that it is a Pre-employment test. I tried to find out some info. about the test strips and most of them only make sure the urine has the right levels of nitrates,ph,glucose and etc. I would guess that they test for the more common abused drugs like pot, cocaine, and stuff like that. Unless something on the test strip made her suspicious and maybe they will request a test for stimulants like AS.

Usually they test for liver and kidney function and a bunch of other crap in those pre employment tests. As mentioned b4 testing for A.S is very expensive.

urine test strips dont measure AAS. They measure among other things protein(which could either signal kidney damage, or you shot a load of 3million kids recently), pH, bacteria, glucose, osmolarity(how diluted the urine is), nitrites(bacteria test), and some other stuff i cant remember. Sounds like she was pulling your chain. Anyway, before you keep freaking out, does your job care if you are taking AAS?
