i have to sign up for university until the 15 of august, but i don't know what i shall take,......

i thought about taking psychology, or maybe becoming a lawyer,.... damn i don't know

what would you guys take?

DON'T take psycology unless you WANT to be unemployed or work in academia. If you like math at all go into some form of engineering. There will always be work in those fields.

Unless you have to sign up for a major I wouldn't.
Take some classes in programs you might be interested in. Use your first year to find out what you want to study.

Here's the unemployment line:

English or English Lit
Philosophy
Psychology
Fine Arts
Foriegn Language
Theology or Religion
And last but not least, Anthropology

dont declare a major unless you have to

until then, take whatever applicable classes you think you should take (follow some guidelines)

if all else fails, take some business classes. cant go wrong there unless u are a dummy

If your school is a liberal arts school like mine was, you can major in anything as long as you take the logical prerequisite courses and get any job you want..

If you want to go to a professional school (law, medical, etc) it doesnt have to be a science major..I know plenty of friends who majored in English, Business, etc..but just took the required basic science courses to get in...

That still leaves architecture, petroleum engineering, chemistry, nutrition, pharmacy....

Don't worry about it. First year I took varied courses I found interesting: geology, meterology, literature, philosophy, history of Film, Greek antiquities ,...
and I accidently stumbled into "intro to programming" and loved it. (all the other open courses were away across campus from the previous class).
