universal remote

this is probably a dumb question but does anyone know where i can find an inexpensive universal remote with DVD functions that works on a sylvania DVD player?

I've checked everywhere, and no remotes work on the sylvania model DVD player for some reason.

Some kid in highschool had one of those remotes on his watches. He programmed it to the classroom tvs and he would play mind games with the teachers by turning them on/off and messing with the volume...Pretty funny.

yeah, but i'll bet $100 that it didn't work on a sylvania DVD player.

You need the kind of Universal remote you can program.. It's called a Learning Remote Control... If you still have your sylvania remote.. you can use it to train the learning remote to do everything the original remote does...
