Ultimate IQ test for those who are interested..

Bulldog_10 said:
I don't like that one.

Why?

It is one of the most accurate IQ test I have ever taken. You should see the one "for exceptional intelligence".The highest score was 22 out of 25. The 10th place only answer 15 questions. They say that the average person will answer less than 2 questions... IT is ridiculously hard..

The ultimate IQ test is much easier than the one for exceptional intelligence.

Dont get intimidated by the first 10 questions that are visual-spatial questions and require perception perspective skills. It will get less tough the more you answer the questions..

It's just too long and drawn out...maybe i'll give it a try...

I'm takin it right now, i'll post my score in a bit. So far only had a tough time with one of them

More useful to ask yourself why you feel drawn towards such tests? I'm not preaching, because I've done one before, because I wanted to do well, so I could think of myself as intelligent and feel better about myself. But it goes both ways, if you don't do as well as you expected, or as well as someone else (and that's always true, given enough people to compare yourself to), then that could be a disappointment. Ultimately, it gets you nowhere. Maybe it's just fun as a focus for discussion?

I've been tested for several different outreachings in my life and know my true iq at this point.. i'll instead post whether this test is accurate or not according to my standards :P

As I said it before, I take them for fun and as a workout for my brain. It is a hobby of mine since I was in the 7th grade.

A higher IQ score is not a guarantee that an individual will achieve happiness, maintain sanity, or obtain weatlh, wheras a lower IQ score does not mean that an individual will be unsuccessful financially, emotionally, or morally.

Ther is no test that could accurately measures the whole nine yards of human ability , thus, you could possibly be inaccurately measured by this test.

But if you score high why dont you get out there and do the right thing.

Statistically the following statements are true about IQ scores obtained by taking this test:

An IQ of 100 is higher than 50% of all persons taking this test.
An IQ of 110 is higher than 75% of all persons taking this test.
An IQ of 120 is higher than 93% of all persons taking this test.
An IQ of 130 is higher than 98% of all persons taking this test.

just to see where you fit in...

128..I have taken quite a few IQ tests in my life so I am no stranger.

Lets keep in mind that an IQ test does not measure most kinds of human abilities such as musical talent, artistic talent, emotional stability, physical coordination, or spiritual level.

Your score is: 133

i just qualified to join, too bad they want me to give them 60 bucks. rolleyes:

i wish i could see which ones i missed.

the candy store one had me stuck for a few minutes, but then i realized each consonant was worth 5 cents and each vowel worth 3.

lets break down some of them:

What is the largest amount of money you can have in coins and still not be able to give change for a dollar?

(Possible coins include only 1 cent, 5 cent, 10 cent, 25 cent, and 50 cent. One dollar is equal to 100 cents)

74 cents

99 cents

$1.01

$1.09

$1.19

$1.69

$1.99

Out at sea...what did you get?

For the coins one, I put $1.69...I got it up to $1.49, and I couldn't see getting it up to $1.99...so by process of elimination i put $1.69.

I think it is $1.19.

You will always get change with $1.69.

out_at_sea said:

But if you build up to 1,69 you will be able to get change as you have add a 5 cent or a 10 cent....

a 50cent piece, a 25 cent piece, 4 dimes, and 4 pennies. I think that's the answer ($1.19)

I am gonna break down 10 more question and whoever answer correctly to each question I am gonna spread out karma...Use arguments pelase as I am sure I may have gotten some wrong answers on my test and it wouldnt hurt to find out the right answer.

First one:

A circle can be sliced into four pieces in any number of ways using two cuts. What is the maximum number of pieces that can be obtained from a circle using three cuts?

five

six

seven

eight

twelve

infinite number of pieces

Bulldog_10 said:

I said $1.19...not $1.49.

I know but my answer was just an reinforcement of Manu's right answer as I do not see how is possible to build up to 1.69..I didn't say that you were wrong...

ZKaudio said:
out at sea, the answer is seven. I got eveyrthing right except for those stupid folding paper ones because I didn' t have the patience. Ask away.

I got 7 too.

Second question:

What letter comes next?

O, T, T, F, F, S, S, E, __

?

Third one:
What value should be placed at "?"balance the scale?

I am gonna try to give you a similar pics ...

------15g------12g-----center-----24------?

3 grams

6 grams

9 grams

12 grams

15 grams

27 grams

My reasoning behind the E was just that it was the only letter that made sense at all.

THe 9 grams, you gotta know about torque...9 grams is right.

Manu said:

Exactly. 12x12 (144) x 2. 288

I still don't get the one with 9 grams

If you look at it...you multiply the weights by the distance from the fulcrom, then make it so both sides are equal...just a simple torque problem.

Exactly, i get it now.

QUESTION 16

There is a system for pricing items at the candy store. How much should the chocolate cost?

What did you answered?

You should assign a 5 pts for a consonant and a 3 pt for a vowel..

Go into more details ad torque is not one of my best suit..

Solar radiation is to sunburn as ____ ?

Pollution is to acid rain

Opera singer is to obesity

Electricity is to light bulb

Dictionary is to definition

George Washington is to Founding Father

Filet mignon is to cattle

Give a number to each point

5 - 4 - 3 - 2- 1 -0 (middle) - 1-2-3-4- 5-

Then muliply the weights to those numbers:

12x 2 and 15 x 4 = 24+60 = 84

On the other side you have 24 at position 2 (2x24 =48)

just Do 84-48 =36

That's the difference you need to balance...since it is in point 4 just get the number make 36 =9

Is this clear?

Just multiply each weight by the distance from the fulcrom...and then make it so both sides have an equal value. Can't really explain it any better than that.

Find the four letter word that best fits in the second set of parentheses.

When Al and George ran a 100-meter race, Al won by five meters. So to give George a chance they raced again, but this time Al started five meters behind the starting line. Each man ran the race at the same speed as in the first race. What were the results of the second race?

Al won

George won

It was a tie

Explain your answer...

I got this one with the yel-LO-w / ta-ST-e = LOST

Explain your answer...

AL won, his speed is greater.

It is greater, but if they runned at the same speed and in the first race Al won by 5 meters, he would arrive at the same time now, since he is 5 meters below....

I answered AL won but I wasnt so sure as it could also be a tie..Indeed Al speed is faster but his 5 m handicap could lead to a tie..hmmm:confused:

No, cuz now the distance is longer. After al runs 100 yards, the other guy will have covered 95, so at the 95-yard mark, they'll be tied...but al is running faster, so al will win.

Ok, let me see.

But the only one 5 meters below is AL...George start normally.
So by the time Al run 100 meters George only runned 95, but Al is 5 meters below the finishing line....and George also...so they are tied at this moment...Al is faster so...in the final 5 meters he win...
Yes, you're right.

Manu said:
It seems to me pretty obvious it was tie, but i could be wrong...

It would have been a tie if Al would have been at the START LINE and George 5 me ahead of him.

But the question states that Al was behind the Start line that makes AL a winner to to a faster speed..

Makes sense?

A rowboat is floating in a swimming pool. Which will raise the level of the water in the pool higher?

Dropping a marble in the pool.

Dropping a marble in the rowboat.

Both will raise the water the same.
