Turned down for Syringes - wtf?

I needed a syringe today because I lost the one that I use to give my cat asthma meds. I had no problem buying them when I was in cycle, but today, the CVS pharmacist wanted to be a little bitch about one damn syringe. "What are you using that for"? When I told her asthma meds for the cat she told me that I could only get syringes if I had a prescription. Really? What the hell am I gonna do with one syringe and no needles?

Lmao that's happened to me before. And like a junkie is gonna buy a syringe that big anyway lol.. especially without a needle. Just go to the next pharmacy and fuck them.

Ironic, they are not giving clean needles to people, total idiotic behavior since most of the nasty diseases are passed with shared needles.

I got a bad look when I asked for a 1ml oral syringe. Mafucker.. I need to measure out my SARMS, who are you to judge the life I live?

Thankfully I know my Pharmacist very well ... have know her for sooooooo many years. I have no issues getting whichever size injection or needle. Man, I am lucky ... and her Pharmacy is less than 3 miles from my house.

Ordering syringes and needles online is so much easier and simpler. I use gpz services and get a bulk amount pretty cheap. That's the way to go if you ask me

Agreed. I use med vet and get 100 American made terumo syringes/needles for like $11

order online people. why deal with stupid people when you dont' have to?

pharmacists don't even know their own states laws, they will turn you down for Plan B for example because they have personal agenda's.

the only thing you should get at a pharmacy ever that makes economic sense is insulin

GPZ worked well for me. Fast and got a container as well.
When I needed a 1ml oral from CVS (1st syringe of any type I ever got!) the clerk walked me back to the pharm and asked the pharmacist for me. He gave me two. He looked at me with a wry smile and told me to tell the pharmacist they're for nursing a baby squirrel. Ummm, ok.

I agree 100â„…. Letting someone shoot up with a clean needle is better then passing around HIV, hep, and all that other shit. That's what happens when you have morons making the laws though.

Their logic is that if they sell needles to junkies, the junkies will hang out in the area and do junkie shit... like go on the nod in peoples front yards, do break ins and rob old ladies. When getting anything from a pharmacy, if you wear a collared shirt and glasses they ask less questions.

Yesterday, I had to go pick up a couple oral syringes from the pharmacy because the numbers had wore off of mine. One of my bros asked while I was there if I could pick up a few boxes of Bronkaid for him.

Oh.. the looks I got from buying syringes, even though they were oral.. and the main ingredient for meth at the same time.

I find that strange as well when you can get free condoms to not get aids??????

CVS is notorious for this. Not sure what state you had this happen in, but it's ESPECIALLY in Texas. The CVS in Dallas at Preston & Forest nearly called the cops when I tried to buy a box of insulin syringes a couple years ago, and I DO have a prescription (in fact I have several; one for me, and a few for misc. pets on insulin presently & past). But nevertheless, the foreign, power-hungry female pharmacist decided to run her power trip on the American guy, and be difficult.

I get all of mine on eBay (various surplus medical equipment sellers), or I walk into any local pet supply store in CA (I haven't tried in TX).

The bottom line is that it's up to the pharmacist on duty as to whether to sell or not. Legally, they can sell without a prescription but in CA they need to write your name & info in a book. So if you walk into a pharmacy in CA and they ask for an Rx, just say "I buy them usually on the book". And be ready to make up a story about your aunt with type I diabetes, who uses 12 or 14 units of Humulin N, 2x/day, if they hassle you. They don't want to be hassled by a lawyer for refusing to sell to a diabetic! If you need bigger ones, go with a farm & livestock supply house, and say you're using them for Banamine for your wife's horses.

Some times you will find issues,,,and other pharmacies NO problems.
I always keep a stock ordered online so I dont run out.
Depending on what your looking for try a farmers feed store/pet store/
in some areas.
