ok soo dont laugh, but at the age of 19 i have to get the operation. and im shit scared to be honest, only 6% of men in the UK have it done. im scared..

i dont wanna loose any sensation, :worried:

means i cant have sex or masterbate for 1 month :worried:

im just involved with a girl, and am worried bout telling her no sex

and worried about all my friends making fun of me.

worried also about missing college, (2 weeks)

how much will it hurt ??

will i beable to piss right after the operation ??

this is starting to get to me.. anyone here been Circumcised ?

cause its been like tht for around 5months.. and the infections was in my urine... creams will do no good. so im told

I am NOT a doctor but I come from a culture where the only people that circumsize their sons do it for religious reasons alone so I am NOT a proponent of circumcision unless it is absolutely a last resort. God put that skin there for a reason.

Seems to me that you are more concerned with sex than about the foreskin itself. There have been many times when I couldnt have sex for one reason or another. Tomorrow was another day.

If I had to choose between fixing my coochie so that it was "healthy and normal" and delaying sex for however long and surgically altering it to speed the process so I could have sex sooner. I would NOT opt for surgery. That shit is final.

oh FFS what happens is that the foreskin gets lots of scar tissue in it and loses elasticity, and creates a tourniquet effect, stopping bloodflow to the head of the penis, rather like putting a ring (wedding ring, whatever) just behind the head of your penis while flaccid, then getting an erection. theres some pain also.

moisturisers sometimes work but most of the time, you go to surgery. there is a technique where lots of little cuts are made on the foreskin, allowing it to stretch/scar to a greater size, but circumcision is common.

well, i saw a specilist and he said it " Needed to be done " and explaned tht although i could clean it , it would make sex more painfull. so since then i have avoided sex, like a month ago..... this is starting to get to me, ive not told anyone not even my brother,,, does it leave a scar ?? does it make you loose the sensation ?

itl leave a normal circumcision scar. look up after pics of adult circumcision. the procedure where lots of cuts are made leaves far more scarring, and it doesnt always work.

also, you should tell everyone that your dick grew as an adult, which is why the skin doesnt fit. cant hurt your chances ;)

I only dated one guy who had this done when he was 21. The foreskin was so tight that ANY ERECTION was very painfull for him. He was also very embarrassed so he never discussed it with anyone either. Matter of fact the guy remained a virgin because of this.

Ultimately he had the circumcision and he claimed he had no troubles after the fact. I cant speak from personal experience though because I never even kissed him, let alone seen his winkie.

The best I can say is perhaps it would do you good to get a second opinion. What could it hurt, right?

I had the surgery done when I was 13. They could not do it at birth because they thought I was a free bleeder. I will tell you that it is the worst pain I have ever had. I dont mean to wig you out. The first two days when you pee it is going to hurt. I would ask for alot of pain meds. You will be glad you had it done. As for resuming sexual relations, I have no idea. good luck

BTW, I had an uncle that had to have it done. From what my Dad said, it was a little hypersensitive for a while, but you apparently get used to it. & his wife liked the result.

i heard about it before and asked him, he said there are lots of cases where people say they loose some of the sensation, but its not a fact.

You need to have an agreement in place with your doctor beforehand with regards to the script for painkillers. Don't let him, push some weak-ass shit on you....scoff when he offers up Tylenol #3. Hold out for Demerol, low dose oxycontin, or something along those lines. I have a friend that needed to get circumcized at 18....he spent two weeks walking around in a bathrobe, never left the house...played a lot of video games. After that, it was a week or so wearing loose silk boxers and those baggy weightlifting pants that were popular in the late 80s and early 90s.

The key is the painkillers though. Get the good ones, and your suffering will be minimal.
