Trump calls out Obama

Pretty much, but Obama losing Ohio wont be as big of a deal as Romney losing Ohio.

If Romney loses Ohio he loses the election. If Obama loses Ohio, he still has a good shot at making up the difference.

I doubt it. If Obama loses Ohio, it will be from a national trend towards Romney.

and the thing with Ohio is unemployment is way down, below the national average.

Romney: Are you better off than you were four years ago?
Ohio: Actually, yes we are.

Last I checked the auto industry is a major employer in Ohio...

Not necessarily. If he loses Ohio, Obama can win by carrying Virginia or Colorado.

Ohio is still his best shot, though...and of the 3 states his odds are best there (especially with the blatant attempts at voter suppression being struck down in that state). Polls from early voters should start coming in soon, and early voting will favor Obama by a significant margin.

And while a part of me is happy the electoral college will likely prevent a Romney/Ryan administration, I dont like the fact that the vote of some low information Ohioan is 1,000,000x more important than my vote here in Illinois.

Me too.

lol @ this being a dead heat race. People seem to forget about something called the electoral college. Penn is definitely Obama, and likely Ohio. Thats all that matters.

i can only take the bet from one person, who ever wants it.
penn is a tossup, so is ohio, don't believe me check out the polling data.
coal country and middle america, any suprize these aren't slam dunks for obumbles? come on son

Penn is in the tank for Obama. Ohio is likely. Yes Ohio is "middle America" but it went for Obama in 2008, and there was something about an auto bailout that has resulted in Ohio having an unemployment rate well below the national average.

Id take the bet, but to be fair DT did speak up first. If he doesnt want it, Im in.

This however FYI Nate Silver is the only prognosticator that matters:

Election Forecasts - FiveThirtyEight Blog - NYTimes.com

And before the willfully ignorant start screaming "omg its at NYT a lubrul paper!!!" Silver is a statistician who has admitted to leaning Republican. He called the 2008 Presidential and senate races down to a T.

while i respect nate silver for his excellent mind, even he has been dropping his probability of obumbles winning again, and lol at him being a republican...daily kos and nyt blogging jew just screams GOP to me haha
direct quote of his
"My state [Illinois] has non-partisan registration, so I am not registered as anything. I vote for Democratic candidates the majority of the time (though by no means always). This year, I have been a supporter of Barack Obama".[38] With respect to the impartiality of his electoral projections, Silver stated, "Are [my] results biased toward [my] preferred candidates? I hope not, but that is for you to decide. I have tried to disclose as much about my methodology as possible

yeah but the new industry and the one creating most of the jobs in Ohio and Pennsylvania is oil and gas. Don't discount it.

There will be more jobs added over the next 4 yrs in oil and gas drilling, pipelines, gas plants, and chemical plants than will ever be added in autos.

Good thing that domestic production of both - especially gas - is higher now than its almost ever been.
