yeah, i guess i do about small stuff cuz I'm overly sensitive to people, so I guess I don't really think a lie is a lie, but I'm talking about big things.... relationships, safety, etc.... people don't wanna know the truth for some reason and the majority of their friends don't wanna tell it to them either

No, it's not. Ignorance allows the issues to escalate to such a degree where the damage done is irreversible and one finds himself intricated in a situation much worse than could've been, given that preventive measures could be taken from the outset. You can't take such a risk without taking a responsibility for whatever happens to the person as a consequence of such ignorance

It all depends on the situation. If someone has cancer and says hey "do I look good", I would tell them they do no matter what. If someone was healthy and said do I look fat in these pants I would tell them that those pants are probably not the best for them.

i have lied to protect peoples feelings, but only when i knew i would never ever be caught out and the downside of them finding out was too great. for anything important, i think that the truth is the only decent thing to do

in general im blunter than a brick wall, mainly because id rahter have people respect me than like me.
