Troy worth renting or not?

Worth buying? How is the scenrery? I loved HERO even though a lot said they did'nt like it. I know Jack angel said he liked it. I'm taking his word for it this time. Jack?

It's $15 at BestBuy. Why not. I think it's 2 DVDs for $25.

yes, hero was great, if for no other reason than its visual appeal. it was beautiful. captivating at times.

troy is nothing like that (it does have 4 letters in its name, however, so there is one similarity). but i think troy is definitely watchable...i have no trouble sitting through a film with that kind of star power, whether it's really good or just average.

i wouldn't pay a dime for it, though. i don't buy DVDs at all. i do have it on my laptop right now (d/led via bittorrent), but i've already seen it in the theaters. i suggest you not pay for it, unless you like adding any passable movie to your collection.

Thanks JA I have bought the Hero DVD and it's great. The PQ is awesome, among other things.

I got 10 free DVD rentals from Blockbuster for returning double points credits on my CC. I guess I'll use them. I went there once and there were 40 people on line. wtf? I get the same exact channels on PPV at home. I never wait in lines and never have to return anything. But this is 10 free movies. lol I already gave awy almost hlf the tickets. Friends of mine are more frequent shoppers at BB.

Cool movie, but I just can't buy Brad Pitt as Achilles. Should have used the Rock. He would have been more believable as "the greatest warrior to ever walk the earth". I think Brad is a great actor, but should stick to drama. I love the ads how they say he's so muscular. My friend and I, who is a female, laughed our asses off when we saw the movie after seeing all the hype about him being muscular. That's Hollywood for ya. Skinny dudes that everyone thinks is "muscular". What a backyard I live in...
