Trouble dialing in my e2 using aromasin

Hey all

First cycle here. 29 y/o. 600mg of test e for 12 weeks, split into 2 shots a week. I'm currently at the tail end of week 5.

I saw great gains / water retention during weeks 1-4. Packed on about 10lbs. Felt amazing starting towards the end of week 3. Confident, aggressive, wanting to sleep with anything that walked. ;-). Morning wood, evening wood, wood all the time. lol.

Only sides were oily skin and increased libido.

Then during week 4 I noticed I hadn't woken up with morning wood for about two days. Then my strength dropped dramatically. So I figured my E2 was high and ran this:

wed - 25mg of aromasin
thurs - 25mg of aromasin
fri - 12.5mg of aromasin
sat - 12.5mg of aromasin
sun - nothing
mon - blood test.

Estradiol came back at 68.6 (high, obviously) with that Monday's blood test.

So I continued with 12.5mg EOD. Still have oily skin, but joints started to hurt a little more. Bloating seemed to have stopped but didn't lose any weight either. Wasn't seeing "hot flashes" as often either (assuming that was blood pressure related).

I'm still not seeing much morning wood / nighttime wood. I don't feel all that confident like I did during week 3/4 either. I can get an erection but it can be hard to ejaculate.

So I'm having problems getting dialed in. What do you think it is -- too much aromasin or not enough? Should I roll with 25mg ED for a week and see how I feel?

I'm alsohaving mood swings. Slipping into depression fairly easily.

Got done lifting yesterday and felt like shit on the way home. Really sucked. Mad at everything and feeling like shit isn't going to work out (dealing w/ some stress at work).

And more details now that I'm remembering them. I stopped the aromasin for a few days (3?) and didn't see much of a change in wood, etc.

So I'm going to assume my E2 is still high. I think I'll try 25mg ED for the rest of this week and then get more labs done on Thursday. Thoughts?

I've been on 25mg ed for the last four days. I *feel* like my libido is coming back but not really seeing random boners etc.

My concern: crashing my E2. How likely is it?
 
And yet here I am now, sitting here with a boner. lol.

I give up. Estrogen and hormones are crazy. Lmao. Last aromasin dose was 4 hours ago.
 
In my opinion crashing your estrogen levels with aromasin in the dosages mentioned is extremely unlikely, if I was you I'd give it time at 25mg ED until the estro sides subside, if you get joint pain and/or ED, lower the dose and run with that.
 
Thanks for the feedback man... First cycle jitters and all that.

I'll sit tight at 25mg ed until my libido comes back and also get more bloodwork ran in Thursday. That'll have been a solid week at 25mg Ed. From there I'll know if I'm sitting high or low and which way it's trending since it should be stable by then.

don't forget there is studies that show you will gain for about 3 weeks then lose a bit/level, then go back to gaining if you change things up a bit. I have noticed, at least with me, a get used to a certain weight/resistance whatever in about 2 weeks or so, so I am always changing-up routines.

I would worry less about your estrogen--its a part of life (and more studies are showing that the ratio of t to e in men as they age may be the cause of numerous problems). Your joints may hurt from the added strength and weight your are carrying/lifting--don't forget--androgenic do not like soft tissue at all---

try some joint support or just take a couple of days off and let your body get used to the added load--this is all new to you and your dose is a bit high so expect some sides,

Huh, no - I missed those studies during all of my research. Very much appreciate you pointing that out. I'm switching to a new routine (hypertrophy instead of strength) and bumping calories up by another 500 starting this week.

Great points. I'm mostly concerned with the mood swings, depression and possible ED. It works sometimes, but "that feeling" isn't there like it should be. Know what I mean?

For the first four weeks of the cycle I didn't run any AI at all. Felt *amazing*. And then one day, blam. Lost strength, felt like shit, no more morning wood. At that point I started to play with an AI and was trying to bring it down into "normal" ranges again. I think I just haven't ran it consistently enough to bring it back to "normal" (ie: morning wood, wanting to sleep w/ anything that walks). I was concerned about crashing my estrogen using it hence the experimenting with dosages. Mix that in with feeling achy, which as you mention very well could just be from the added strength/weight and I was probably misinterpreting those as sides for low estrogen.

tl;dr - don't be so jumpy on the gun. Give the AI some time to work. ;)
