Trisoralen (trioxsalen) 5mg/tab 20 or 100 tab bottle:
This is a prescription drug that bb's often use to enhance tanning. As we all know, the tanner the better, in a sense that a dark tan helps in creating an illusion of less bodyfat, shows better vascularity and definition in muscles. Trisoralen is used to treat a pigment disorder called vitiligo (sp?), but doctors will sometimes perscribe it to really fair or pale people who are about to go on a tropical cruise or something. What it does is increase the tolerance level to solar exposure and enhances pigmentation. Trisoralen seems to act on melanin, which is what is responsible for a person's natural pigmentation. So, trisoralen works only before prior exposure to sun or UV rays and should not be taken for more than 14 days at a time (total of 28tabs). No known toxitity has been reported.
Anyone have any experience or know anything else about Trisoralen?
So, for all you pale ass guys and girls, if this is something that interests you, see your dermatologist and see if he/she'll percribe it to you.
peace,
