I took last week off lifting and want to do a "muscle shock" routine this morning. I would usually work these two muscle separately(Quads today & Chest tomorrow) bu am going to double them up today with a triple-set routine for both. Tell me what you think...
CHEST
3 Triple Sets of:
Dbell Flies
Dips
and either Flat Bench(BB) or Hammer strength bench.
I might do a burnout set of pushups too as a last set, to make it an even 10 sets.
QUADS
3 Triple Sets of:
Leg Extensions
Leg Presses
and either Hacks or BB Squats.
Again, I will also probably throw in a single set of Lunges at the end to round the routine off to 10 sets. I count a triple set a 3 sets, even though it is obviously done as one.
Do you think this is too much? Overtraining? I am on cycle now, so that might kill the overtrain possibility I thought.
