Trip to Mexico...Too Risky?

Thanks...that's about what I thought. My training partner and myself were just talking out our ass toying around with the idea and I thought, "Hey...I'll post this and see what the board says".

And, thanks for not flaming me {so far!} since I was very hesitant about even posting this to start with. It sort of seems almost like asking for a source.

Thanks...I'll just continue with my domestic. He's a great guy anyways.

"Also, be aware - Customs are not stupid. They spend all day every day doing this. There isn't a single bright idea you are going to have that they haven't thought of... the loose clothes will get you extra scrutiny".
Well said SofaGeorge

I just came back from TJ two weeks ago, went down for the day and took the bus across the boarder with a friend and his wife and son.

We purchased over $2,000 worth of gear, simply for our selfs,

Actually stuffed it in my underware and wore a Hiawaiian style shirt.

No problems period.

Before 9/11 I would always drive and never have had a problem in Mexico

Got some super deals, One pharmacy sold me QV Fina for $60, it was a mistake I know. QV cyponaite was $11

I have more than enough gear for 3 cycles, including HCG, clomid and clen

US customs looks for a profile, in our case the classic body builder, huge, shaved head t-shirt, Young, with a bunch of guys, etc...............

You want to avoid that profile, I am 52 and my friend is 53, so it was eaiser,

But make no mistake if customs suspects you, your caught.

I'll tell you what I WISH I HAD bought some gear when I went to Mexico. I went on a 7 day Carnival cruise and when I left the ship it was a joke. I actually had a customs guy comment on the size of my arms and ask if I bought them on vacation! I could have walked off with as much gear as I could stuff in my fanny pack as possible. It was a joke when we left the ship. The airport is another story all together, x-rays, luggage checks and being frisked, much too risky. If I were to do it again I would buy the gear in Mexico and mail it home from Miami before flying back.

Just my opinion...

I honestly don't know what all the fuss is about. I've been making a run for the border at least twice a year for over a decade, and have never had any problems.

Not only do you save a small fortune, but to me, there are few things more exciting than shopping in a granero that displays a full wall of hundreds of kinds of gear. I'm like a kid in a candy shop. No domestic can carry that kind of selection.
