Tried hack squat for the first time

not the hack SLED, but the hack squat. for some reason the bar hits my hams. wtf? are my arms too long? are my legs too short? somehow, I couldn't do this exerxise right without hitting the back of my legs. any advice? I just tried it for a change, something different than front squats(which I LIKE).
