Traps?

Ok so I have been a personal trainer for sometime now and am nationaly certified.

However I know the majority of focus in the seminars and programs is health and over all fitness.

I was curious if anyone had any good work outs for your traps, they are the most difficult musscle group for me to train (plus hurts your neck!).

I know the behind the back straight arm shrugs, dumbell shrugs, I even do the bent back flys and concentrate on the traps more, or even the back pull real high.

It just feels like there is something missing, if so what are any of you doing to get your traps big. (I'm a weightlifter, not going for slimming ;o)

Thanks all!

Thanks for the info I'll try that on my next back day!

i do armpit rows. take db's and hold them at your sides, then, pull them upwards, with the `bells moving towards your armpits and your elbows pointing out towards the walls....kinda looks like you're doing an imitation of an ape or something.....

My traps are still sore from the other day and I simulated yours Truman and I could feel it pretty well (given there still sore)

I'm definately going to add that to the routine thx!
