Before this thread veers completely into the ditch, there are some aspects to transexual hormone treatment that are of interest to bodybuilders.
For MTF transexuals, their goals are almost the complete opposite of bodybuilders - they want less testosterone, more estrogen, and actually desire gyno. Most take estrogen and progesterone, and take anti-androgens like spironolactone to reduce their testosterone levels.
FTM transexuals' horomone treatments are very similar to bodybuilders - they take test injections usually at HRT levels, and need lots of AI to bring their estrogen levels down to that of a normal male. They have to deal with most of the side effects that guys on a cycle have to deal with - high blood pressure, high cholesterol, high RBC - but not gyno since most have surgery to remove their breasts.
I remember seeing a documentary on cable a few years ago about people who have undergone sexual reassignment surgery. One was a FTM who had been a male for about 10 years. He worked out and was probably taking AAS as well. He was fairly ripped and had nice definition. His overall muscle mass was nothing special by board standards, but I think the average guy would love to have his physique. One thing that was interesting was that as a women she had a full head of hair, but as a man he now had MPB and had lost most of his hair.
It really is amazing how much of our appearance, behavior, and sense of identity are determined just by the levels of a few chemicals in our bodies.
