Transformation in 50 Days!

Hello.

I've always been kinda skinny and now im gonna seriously try hard and do something about it. For the basics im 17/m/ 5'11/142pounds :P

In November 25 schoolies week starts for me (its where all year 12 students come together to this beach place and have a week long huge party)- its an Australia thing :) But its gonna be huge, hundreds and hundreds of people. So my goal is to look good for that, which is in approx 50 to 60 days time.
So is it possibly to transform a 142pound skinny into something good in 50 days??
Im gonna be fully dedicated for this because its something i really want to do... and will spend up to $400 Aus ($250 US) on suppliments. So any suggestions would be much appreciated.

As for suppliments, i already have Max’s Bioengineered WPI - 40g protien w/ milk (low fat) per serve. But im wondering if i should get anything else, such as creatine??? <- ?

I got a gym membership and will start going most days for approx 1 to 2 hours and working on each body part 1 to 2 times a week.

I know diet is also very important, so this is what i was thinking -

Meal 1: 2 scrambled eggs/ 2 whole grain toast / bowl of muesli
Meal 2: protien shake (40g protien) / Yogurt
GYM
Meal 3: Macaroni?Pasta
Meal 4: protien shake (40g protien) / Yogurt
Meal 5: 2 Salmon Sandwiches
Meal 6: Chicken Breast / Rice / Salad
Meal 7: protien shake (40g protien) / Yogurt

Thats about. Ill try my best to follow it. Although some things might change like taking a steak instead of the chicken, few english muffings a day :) etc.
I think i worked it out that everything mentioned adds up to about 250g protien & 70g fat.

Does that look right for my diet?

I know that when your bulking you will gain some fat, but at the end of these 50 days i dont want to have a fat gut, so is there anything i can do to help this? Maybe do cardio as well most days? There wouldnt be enough time to bulk and then cut for the last cple of weeks would there be?

Back to the suppliment thing, i said i would spend a few hundred on more stuff if needed. So im really after suggestions on that. There has to be some stuff around which could help me.

Just for the records after the 50 days im not gonna just let myself go. I will keep trying to look good, but just not so intensly.

...

Do you think i can do it?! Only time will tell...
Thanks for your time and please help if you can

looking good takes far more than a few weeks-I've been training for a year and still am not happy with my results-even steroids would require a month or so to really transform you but you are too young for that.

yeh i know 7 weeks isnt that long
but even if i can gain over 15 pounds id be happy, as long as its not just all fat

I don't think it'll be possible for you to look strong or well built in this short amount of time; a pound a week is healthy, and anything beyond that will surely be fat primarily.

I would recommend that you should focus in on just not looking fat in any way. I mean, you won't be able to look lean and sculpted, so at least don't look like you have any extra fat. Also, just go on a 4000 calorie bulking diet and see how much you can gain. I mean, even though you won't be 15 lbs bigger, you'll still look more built than you are now.

7 weeks?I think your best bet would be to forget about adding any weight and ensuring you are lean and are showing a six pack.At surfers paradise, chicks will be interested in you if you are lean and cut than some dude who has just size and little definition.

The only thing I can think of that will most likely aid in acheiving your goals is gear. In 7 weeks I would not expect to gain much without gear unless you are a rare person who responds very well to training.

yeh im only 17 so i guess gear wouldnt be such a good thing for someone this age
err just outa curiosity where do you actually get it from? (friend of a friend?)(mail order) or would have to kill me if you told me?

Hi fellow OZZIE!

Mr BC hit the nail on the head when he said you would be better of cutting up for schoolies! Put the hard work in and you will be happy with the results!
Cheers :)
ps- enjoy schoolies

youv'e got muscle man!!! just hit the gym, work hard and keep to your diet and get heaps of quality protein! other supplements such as creatine and l-glutamine could be useful! all the best

yeh ive decided to get some creatine
and err what does l-glutamine do? is that muscle recovery?

how would you be able to keep/gain your muscle but lose fat? is that cutting down all the fat in your diet?
or is this impossible?

Don't expect great results in such a short period of time, make it more of a long term plan, like being ripped up and huge for next years big bash. Man 7 weeks is way too short, you are only 142 lbs so even if you gain like 10 lbs of muscle which would be a great feat for such a short period of time naturally you would still be small. Like others said just try to gain a little bit of muscle and a 6 pack cuz that is what the ladies like anyway. Eat lots of protein, your diet above is pretty good and try to stick to it and get in lots of protein. Also a 4-5 day training split would be good and work each muscle group once a week, and maybe 3 days of cardio would be good. Creatine would be a good bet as well as glutamine, if you pack on too much fat at first try doing some ECA for the last couple weeks and do more cardio. Good luck but make your goals more long term and you will be much happier with your results.

Everyone has said that his diet is good. If he is trying to get cut it doesn't look to good to me. Way to many carbs: two pieces of bread with breakfast, cerial, muffins, milk in the protien shakes , yogurt, macaroni, pasta, rice? I would go with two eggs four eggwhites and 1/4 cup oatmeal for breakfast. 40 grams whey protien three hours later, two cans of tuna and some cottage cheese two hours later, forty grams whey protien two hours later, steak or chicken with greens or broccli for dinner and more whey protien with flax oil before bed. Take Hydroxycut everyday and lift one body part per day five days a week. try 20 min of cardio to warm up followed by chest on monday, legs on tues, back on weds, shoulders on thurs, and arms on fri. Take the weekends off and do abs everyday on which they are not sore from previous workouts. at your age you can see results fast so dont be discouraged. Follow this and you will be pleased with the results

but becos i dont weigh that much, theres not much point cutting, so i should bulk first

Exactly!! Who said anything about a cutting diet hurricane? He said he wants to put on as much muscle as possible while staying fairly lean. That diet and training that hurricane gave you will do wonders for you though, you should be getting lots of protein and the workout plan looks great. I hope you take my advice, and a lot of the others. Creatine will help you blow up a bit, you can expect 7 or 8 lbs of water gain in those weeks which will help you because you are so lean. Maybe stop taking it the week before the beach to lose some of the water, you don't want to look bloated. And take some ECA and glutamine and TRAIN, EAT, AND SLEEP!!

hello
as for training routine..
do you think this one is okay

Day 1: Back, Biceps & Abs
Day 2: Shoulders, Calves & Forearms
Day 3: Legs & Abs
Day 4: Chest & Triceps
Day 5: Rest
Day 6: REPEAT

?

Looks good but I have found that if I do bi's on back day my bis get burned out from back stuff as with tri's and chest... I like to put arms on seperate days, you may want to post this on the training board though as well. You may want at least 2 days of rest per week though...

Everything's looking pretty good to me.... diet, training.... I'm no expert but it looks like you're fairly well on track.

Creatine worked really well for me.... I can't afford it anymore, but when I did.... my strength sky-rocketed. Don't recall putting on any noticable size, but I probably wasn't eating enough. So I would go with the creatine.... I don't know anything about L-Glutamine, so.... I'm not sure about that.

But yeah... just eat a lot, train with perfect form, every set until failure, lift heavy and don't do too many sets.

7 weeks isn't long, but make the most of what you've got. Good luck.

Okay well i started at 142 pounds, and now 10 days later im at 150. I've been keeping to my diet and training most days...
But 8 pounds in 10 days??? That must be an awful lot of fat
Is it normal to be gaining that much so quickely?

That is a whole lot.... all I can say is, look at yourself in the mirror. If you're happy with what you see, continue.

If you see yourself gaining more fat than you want, adjust the diet. But it's up to you.... maybe you're just gaining a lot of muscle really well.

That is probably about 1.5lbs mucsle and 6.5lbs fat... It would be incredible to gain 1 pound a week naturally but 8lbs in 10 days is not even possible, but hey if you still look fairly lean then go for it, just cut down after, good luck bro!

Hello.
Just thought id do an update post :)
Okay i started my first bulking diet on 27th September and now 24 November... my weight is always hovering around 70kg which is 156ish pounds.
So i started at 142 and now approx 8 weeks later im up 14 pounds. I have noticed a little more fat, but thats cool, cos its fat ive never had before so i like it.
I stopped taking creatine, so theres no water retention happening... i probably will take it up again.
My strength gains have been great and im lifting a hell of a lot more than what i could.
Few examples.. started off leg pressing 194 pounds (3 of 8) now im doing about 250 pounds (3 of 8). Bench pressing started at 130 to 140 pounds, now im doin 160.
Id just like to thank all of you for all the help your've given me.
Hopefully i can keep this up for another 8 weeks.
