Transferring Sust Ampules into Vials - any problem?

for ease of use during travel, I want to transfer the contents of 5 250mg/ml 2 ml Sust amps into one 10ml multiuse vial (an empty from previous use).

any problem with this in terms of dose uniformity or anything else (sterility etc).

There shouldn't be a problem, but just to be safe I would bake the multi-use after you're done with it.

Do it all the time, I dont reuse vials though, I also put into sterile vials.

I see no logic in that,5 amps take up very little space.

use a sterile vial or you're risking an abcess.

thanks - how do I bake it? never needed to do that before.

The easiest way is to bake the gear:

Put a pin in the top (just pin , NOT syringe)
pre-heat oven to 175 F^o
bake for 10 min
let cool for 30min
(repeat 2-3 times).

No I just find it more convienient to deal with the 1 vial, plus no scoring tools.
