It kind of defeats the point of being an island. Arguably time and technology have done that already in other ways but many here would flood the Channel Tunnel in the name of border sanctity if they could.

I like the idea. The world relies on antiquated mass transit as it is. Especially here in the states. Britain could become a hub for a whole new realm of mass transit.

i like it... but i cant imagine the cost of the trip... might just be cheaper to go by plane.... you know they are going to make the trip cost a shitload because of the convenience... but i do like the idea...
