Training protocal question

Ok guys comign back from elbow surgery, I am going to start with lower body exercises two days a week and I woudl like to do cardio 4 days a week, but I am wondering, if I do hardcore squatting on one day on leg press/leg curls/calves on another should I be doing high intensity, 45-minute long elliptical machine stuff on the other days? See I woudl like to do at least something to get my body warmed up so I can stretch my elbow and my whoel body every day.

Sugestions/comment please

I don't know about 4 heavy days of cardio along with those 2 days of legs. Maybe 2 high intensity days of cardio and 2 medium days? Right after my shoulder surgery I was doing 3-4 days of medium cardio. I was also doing 2 light to medium days on legs.

Good luck. :)

what did the docs say about some form of cardio that might help the elbow rehab (possible swimming?)....

i;d be concerned about over stressing the body like Big4life said

hmmm

I think I'll incorporate a third day where I do some extra calf work and whatever machines don't use my elbow. then just 2 or 3 days of cardio?

I mean if you're not weight training you can do high intensity cardio 5-6 days a week easy rihgt? I mean that's what runner do....

I think next week I will just do cardio all 5 week days to ramp up then hit the weights 3x a week and cardio 3 times a week, perhaps not as intense on one of the days. (like the day after squats)
