Of course it's possible to overtrain...This is a personal thing though as some people recover quicker than others...I like training each bodypart once a week...Usually I do 4 days a week of training and 3 days of rest...Remember you grow when you're resting..........

But while on AS, you have a quicker recovery. I know from personal experience that if I consume around 4500 calories a day (low fat, mod-high carbs, high protein) and sleep an average of 8-9hrs per day, it takes two months of 4-5 on, 1 off before I feel I need to take 3-4 days off. It's strange as hell. Off the gas, it's nearly the same but my workouts begin to suck if I don't get enough rest in between.

Like I said it's different for different people....I tend to get the best results working out 4-5 days a week...but make no mistakes about it you can still overtrain on AS....It does help your recovery but rest is still mandatory....

What kind of training splits do you guys use?

I usually hit chest after back or shoulders
Back after shoulders
Shoulders after arms
Legs in between

Usually am/pm workouts, if not, at least within 24 hours of each workout. And I hit chest and arms every 5 days, the rest every 7-8.

Every other day one body part once a week when off cycle .....5 out of 7 days when on a cycle each body part once a week

I train 5 days a week - 1 body part per week because of time constraints.

Mon - Chest
Tue - Legs
Wed - Bis/Tris
Thur - Back
Fri - Shoulders

While on AS, yet to be, I'm thinking of swapping Back and Shoulders days and then adding bi's on back day and tri's on Chest day so that I hit arms twice a week - my weak area.

5 days a week

mon-chest
tues-back
wed-shoulders
thurs-arms
fri-legs

only thing that changes while on cycle is intensity and maybe number of sets.
