Does anybody have any good suggestions for training music? I like to have a headset so I can stay focused. My personal favorite is the training montage from the Rocky IV soundtrack....just curious as to what you guys listen to....

there is a christian hard rock band called Project 86.

you can check them out at Project86.com..... the drawing black lines cd is the one im talking about

also you may thank im nuts...... but classical in your headset is wonderful....... it helps focus and helps concentrate

i know it sounds weird but its worth a try

good shit that gets me going.....METALLICA, DMX(his harder stuff) GUNS N' ROSES, some KID ROCK(again, gotta be hard for the gym!), PAPA ROACH and other hard, upbeat rap tunes( XZIBIT, DRE...)

Just anything that gets u pumped up.......ow yeah, the ROCKY 4 soundtrack, thats a classic training album!

On my mp3 player right now:

-Punk (AFI, old Rancid)
-Hardcore (H20)
-hard rock (Marilyn Manson)
-KMFDM (Search and Destroy: deadlifting song)
-Paul Oakenfold. (makes cardio go faster....)

this is the cd that i always bring to the gym, they always play it but sometime they skip a song. but this cd is the shit i need in when i train.

Brooklyn Bounce - Bass beats and melody(club_mix)
ATC - Around The World
Daddy Dj - Daddy Dj
Daft Punk - Aerodynamic
Darude - Feel the beat
GZA - Breaker Breaker
Limp bizkit - My Way
missy elliot - she's a bitch
Nelly - Ride Wit Me
Pepe Delux - Woman in Blue
Dr.dre feat. Eminem Xibit - Whats the diffrence
Safri Duo - Played-a-live (Spanish Fly Remix)
Snoop Dogg feat. Butch Cassidy, Tha Eastsidaz, Dr. Dre, Master P and Nate Dog - Lay Low
Warp Brothers - We Will Survive (club mix)

You can find them all on napster or Imesh.

-hard rock (Marilyn Manson)

I didn't know anyone considered that freak hard rock. Just thinking about how weird and skinny that moron is makes me want to throw up much less get a good pump at the gym. That dude is a sicko and I wish his stupid popularity wilwould soon fade away like a bad jock itch.

One of my favorite workout songs beside "You Could be Mine" by G & R and Metallica's "SEek and Detroy" "Whiplash", is House of Pain's "Jump Around." Man, that song just makes bounce all over the gym. :D
