training for speed

what type of training would you recommend for a 100 meter sprinter guys? I have good muscle on my legs but some guys at the camp with skinnier legs kick my butt in the 100 meters competition.
 
Sprints and explosive weight training like jump squats, weighted burpies...

I train quite a few athletes and I base their programs around functional exercises like that.

Things like kettle bell swings and rope swings are also great...
