Training for endomorphs

I've read a few articles here regarding training for the 3 different body types.

So basically for endos, its more reps(12) per set. Thats almost twice of what i do. I like to keep my reps bet. 6-8.

What i would like to know is will i make less gains if i keep my reps so low as oppose to what the articles says?

For you guys who are endos, whos yr routine like?

Thanks mates :)

More reps will build muscular endurance. Less reps with heavier weight will focus more on strength and mass. So if you're talking about gaining less mass from higher reps, then yes, that's true.

8-12 reps can be ideal though, because it will evenly build all three of the above. But if your main and only focus is strength and mass, go lower. Endurance? Go higher. It's simple, really.

Fallacious nonsense predicated on the idea that higher reps burn more fat. Rep range should be determined by muscle fiber type and exercise performed.

So would this basically mean higher reps for legs, Forearms and abs. And low to moderate range for the remaining muscle groups?

Endomorphs I believe have the hardest time losing weight. Mesomorph is in the middle, and I think Ectomorph is one who loses weight quickly but has trouble gaining.

Generally, yes, but it can very individual- experiment a bit.
