Train when tired??

Micker

New member
I took an extra day off from my workout scheduel, doing a 5x5 now, on my 5th deload week. Last night I went see U2 in boston(AWESOME SHOW), and didn't get home till 3:30am. I woke up at 9:00am to go to work and was pretty tired. Mentally I REALLY want to work out tonight. Its an easy night(3rd deload day) and I don't want to get too far off. Just not sure it would be more benefical to wait till tomorrow or just workout tonight.

Is it me or after a couple days of not training and not eating properly(missing a meal), do you feel like your body is starting to get smaller. I know you can't lose much in 3 days of eating semi normal and not being sick, but for some reason I always feel like I am getting noticably smaller.

probably psychological
it depends on how tired and hungry... from experience I know how tired i'm going to be in an hour, so I use that to gauge whether to fight or run...

If I'm tired, then I skip the workout. As long as it doesn't become a weekly thing, it's not going to harm you. With the little bit of sleep you got last night, you could use the rest.

thats what i feel like today too...goin on 6 hours of sleep came home and felt mentally ready to lift but i can tell my body is fatigued so i decided to rest a lil today

even tho i did decide to do a light workout...nothing too intense jus hittin the same muscle groups i usually work jus a lil lighter.....friday tho ima make sure i do a good workout
