Cleveland, Ohio, April 11 - The jury has returned with a decision in the federal trial of Congressman Jim Traficant.
The jury has found Congressman Jim Traficant guilty of all 10 federal bribery and racketeering charges. The counts consisted of 4 separate conspiracy to commit bribery charges, accepting bribes, and obstruction of justice. Jurors also convicted Traficant of conspiracy to defraud the government, tax evasion, and violation of the RICO statute.
