Traffic Lights

I hear there are sensors on the tops of some of them that can change the light from red to green if a firetruck is comming...Anyone know if there is a way to make a device that changes traffic lights...I would want one.

thats right....has to be set to a certain frequency though i think...If i can find that out i would get one and mount it on top of my car...
