There is no bad part of Montreal. I can walk in the "roughest neighborhood" here and never be attacked or robbed. We don't have any ghettos.
Here in Montreal we are known for bank robbers and the mob.

I've been to NYC and Philly and I can safely say I would NEVER venture in many of the outlying neighborhoods there. I drove around Philly and saw these "hoods" with cars on blocks (I thought that was only in the movies) and when I was going into Camden, my friends said "Lock your doors while driving and never give eye contact to anyone on the street and drive fast, windows closed" I was like WTF!
There is NO place like that in Montreal
