Torn tricep/ tendonitis/ or just bruised???

so just the other day i was lifting a usual arm day.. my favorite.

well a day later i started to feel a burn in the lower region of my tricep... it gradually got worse with movement. when i say burn i'm referring to "it feels like someone has a torch to my skin".

Yesterday was another arm day and didn't think nething of the burn, halfway through i couldn't bear the pain anymore, BUT i still have all my strength and form and drive.....

could this be a tear or just typical tendonitis or a bruise?
If it IS a tear, what type of medical doctor should i see??
 
You want to get it checked out. It mostly is just a partial tear. You can very easily turn it into a full tear if you aren't careful. A full tear will require surgery to re-attach the muscle.

Go to your regular doctor as soon as possible. Explain to him what you were doing and how the pain started. Don't train triceps or do any exercises that indirectly train the triceps (shoulders, chest) until you get it checked out. Taking a few days off from the gym is better then taking months off to recovery from a major tricep re-attachment surgery.
