Tore my groin need some help

Well,

Last weekend I was doing leg presses and in the transition from bringing the weight down to pushing up.. I heard and felt this awful noise down to the left of my midsection. Went to the hospital and was told my left groin was pulled..

Has anyone here had this injury and what should I expect? Training? Recovery?
