Ross, I can tell by reading your posts that you are well versed in gear and quite knowledgable regarding the ins and outs of their application, and I don't think most people on here would disagree. I would also mention that the debate and exchange of ideas is how all of us learn and better ourselves. I have enjoyed seeing different sides of certain debates and even if it is a drug I would never use I appreciate the knowledge.
However, I think that I can speak for some of the members when I say it's in your delivery. You just joined in August, it is August 7th and you are spatting out info in a somewhat "omniscient" tone. It's like going to your favorite steakhouse and ordering the biggest baddest steak they have only to have it delivered on a trashcan lid. The steak (your knowledge and experience) are being delivered on a dirty trashcan lid (intense somewhat agressive "preachy" tone). I think your information and advice is missed because of the tone it seems to have.
You have been very helpful to me in a few pm's and I suspect there are other members here that you have helped in your short time here already. Your knowledge can be a very valuable asset to this board and it's members. However, I would imagine if you didn't capitalize so many words and not start off your PM's with "you are WRONG" or "100% incorrect" then people would take it better. Some people just need to thicken up their skin a little bit, but on the flipside if you want to share your knowledge and help other BB enthusiasts better themselves, it's all in how your market that info.
