Too tell my Doc or Not????

Whats up fellas! If you read my last post you will know that I am considering the next step in taking my body to the next level. I have been doing research on what my very first cycle should be and am still VERY nervous and am curious if telling my Doc may ease some of my apprehension.

What can one expect your primary care physician to do or say??

Don't expect anything good to come of this. Expect him to write the info down in his file on you. What is the issue? Your considering your first cycle and your nervous about it so your hoping to chat with your GP and he will tell you everything will be ok? If this is the case, forget it. You need to do your research through info sources that actually know something about gear usage. ie - other bros you know, EF, other boards. If you can't get comfortable with it after this, you shouldn't do a cycle.....

This would all be a whole lot easier, if you could find a GP that would monitor your liver values and blood pressure and lipid profile throughout your cycle... im still thinking about talking to a physician about what ive done to my body in the last year, but i read all these posts about not to do that, but i wonder if in the long run it would be worth the possibility of getting somethign in my medical record just to know how my body is reacting to everything

Absolutely agree. Pre and post cycle bloodwork is a must. Unless I misunderstood, though, this is a different issue than the poster was addressing. I got the impression he wanted his doc to tell him juicing was "ok". .....

Punch if you tell your doc, he will just make you feel like your going to die if you take steroids.

oh okay...
in that case...

yeah i dont think telling a physician would be in your best interest either, jusb because of what it could do to your medical record

Just to elaborate, I am NOT looking for my doctors endorsement, rather, I am looking for him to monitor me, liver etc... I am anticipating that he will try and talk me out of it. For that matter, is it better to go to a Doc specializing in Sports Medicine that maybe accustomed in dealing w/ athletes on AS?

ok, my bad. This is a tuff question. You need to find a doc that will understand and will work with you. I would think a sports med doc would be a good choice. You could also go to a HRT doc. Try this, I think it has listings of HRT docs:

Finally, the other option is to just go in and tell your doc you want a checkup to include a full blood workup. When he gives you the requisition form, make sure he has checked all the right boxes.

Don't tell your doc shit bro. I had a fucked up experience because I told my doc, like an idiot, and some people I never wanted to know found out. You can have bloodwork done without telling your doc you're using gear. To read my story run a search, it might help you make a decision.
