Too Much tuna

I don't know if this is true and it doesn't bother me that much but someone the other day told me that eating to much tuna is bad for you because right now they are finding really high levels of mercury in tuna. Does anyone know anything about this and is the amount in there going to effect your body at all

Scoop some protein on top of a bowl of cereal if ur not worried about the carbs... shreaded wheat and bran has 8g of fiber and all bran has 12g i think. The easiest way to get plenty of fiber without directly supplementing it.

You can also add equal amounts of protein and whole wheat pancake mix for pancakes. Or scoop some in cooked oatmeal.

A $25 can of whey protein is invaluable when it comes to gettin enough protein in one day. I cant see any other way to do it.

I too eat loads of tuna, but it helps with my scuba diving.:p

Actually that wasn't at all funny was it? No.

I'll go then..........

SO if you are all saying that tuna isn't all that bad what else should I eat I want to cut down I am starting my cycle next week and wanted to get a head start on my diet but I am not sure on how many carbs to take in right now I am taking in about 170 a day but that is all whole wheat bread and soymilk with my shakes but im not sure if I iam dieting the correct way how many carbs does everyone suggest when your trying to loose body fat. That is my main goal I play football for WCSU so i can't loose too much right now I am 5'5 180 I play corner back and I bench 340 squat 500 and power clean 260 so I don't want to loose much weight but want to loose bf % any sugestions. Also How does my aratest, winny, and finaplix look..what should I hope for out of that cycle?

Ok, I teach ecology. Here is the truth. TUNA STEAKS (Yellowfin / Bluefin tuna) are generally from larger species of the fish that contain higher mercury levels.

ALBACORE, and other varieties of tuna used to make CANNED TUNA for one reason or another, have lower levels of mercury. There is no risk of mercury poisoning from canned tuna!
