Too much or not enough for WTC victims.....

Ok. I am just going to ask others opinions on this, since I know I am probably one of the select few with my opinion. However, I posted on another unrelated board and was surprised that people actually agreed with me.
Do you think enough has been given to the families ( or will be given ) of the WTC victim's?? Some are getting over 1 million - and saying "it's not enough"
What about EVERY DAY when someone is abruptly taken away violently from thier family---do thier familie's get any money????
I don't think so! Especially not a million dollars!!!!
Please don't callme heartless , or whatever, I know they are suffering..But, it just doesnt seem fair to me. It seems like , hey, if you have lost someone, then you were fortunate to lose them on 9/11 and not another day because if you would have lost them another day then you would get no help............

i could totally see were ur coming from but i disagree only for the simple fact that there isnt any price on anyones life that can make sum1 be at ease with the loss they just had. besides ppl who died that day def. didnt know they were going to die.. there was probably lots of them without life insurance not thinkin they would die at such a young age....thats just clearing the part were u said the families r saying "its not enuff"..as far as what u said after that i def. agree that yes it isnt fair to others that they dont receive any financial help besides the insurance..but at least sum ppl get to know when their loved 1 is dying..compared to the 9-11 victims---no warning

You are right in that there isn't a price on someones life. What I want to know of the families then is why keep asking for more??
Also, I agree that they didnt know what was coming, but so do the other thousands of familes that lose someone to violence everyday ( or maybe every week, I dont know the exact statistics )..they aren't getting any help. Maybe a few with money already can try to sue whomever did it to them, but that doesnt happen often. The perpetrators (sp?) are just thrown in jail and the families just have to move on- w/0 thousands, much less millions of $$$ of help.
Also, a lot of charities are suffering because people would rather give to the 9/11 then to other things.....

i guess to the families its never going to be enough..mayb the ppl asking for more is the ppl who lost there only provider..as for me im a young wife(20) from nyc and cant imagine me losing my husband after i gave up everything to be a great housewife..i cant honestly say if i was one of the widows i would ask for more $ but mayb thats why they r..they lost the one who provided the income so until they get on their feet they need money for house, kids,& food blah blah(thats the only reason i can think of)

i dont think any amount of money will be enough, only the greedy would be happy with a pay off for the death of a family member,i just couldnt figure that one last kiss wouldnt have been better then all the money in the world
