No, I do not know that you are right. I'm 100% convinced that you believe your statements to be 100% true, but that doesn't make them true.

Spelling bee competition is over (I suck at it too) but, no, using race to decide who is more likely to be guilty of a crime is not right.

I haven’t seen statistics on this but I would guess that more men are imprisoned, incarcerated or on parole than women. But that doesn’t make it right to assume that a man is automatically guilty of a crime (going back to the gas station example).

I have seen statistics on the correlation between education and crime and even though I don’t remember a single digit, I know that more uneducated people are imprisoned, incarcerated or on parole than educated people. That does not make it right to assume that a high-school grad is any more guilty than a Ph.D.

I’m sure profiling is reality every day all over this country, but that does not make it ok. Again, the fact that everyone lies and cheats is not excuse to lie and cheat.

There is a not so insignificant document called the The Declaration of Independence. This country is built on the ideas and notions in that document. That document makes me proud of this country. It tells me that there are principles that should not be violated no matter how "practical" it might be to ignore them.

(And where in the constitution does it say that women should wear vials on their driver's license? There were driver's licenses when the constitution was written? For what? Horses? And did the driver's licenses have holograms back then too?)

Statistics don't lie? If you took "statistics 101", you'd remember how incredibly easy it is to lie with statistics. It's one of the very first things you learn. Remember?
