I've always thought it was the other way around.
When I watch MadTV it's like I'm watching a show filled with people who SNL turned down. They try to hard and it really tends to show.

Why are they getting these non-actors as hosts???

People who are not actors/comedians generally can not act, and it gets annoying to watch.

Just bring back Alec Baldwin, one of the funniest hosts.
