The majority of these things are self imposed....and I have matured a great deal...but something out of my past just came back and bit me in the ass so to speak.

We've all made mistakes in the past. I did, and I see my daughter about 287 days a year less now. The women I love, about 330. Some mistakes have a bigger price tag than other's. Some have a price tag that don't come with a refund or any second chances... other's do.

The decision's you start making today, prevent you from getting bit in the ass tomorrow. Figuratively.

Try to really step out of the box (your head) tonight!!! Look at all angles, and how everyone is effected by the situation(s).

First Grade.....true story.
One day the first grade teacher was reading the story of the Three Little Pigs to her class. She came to the part of the story where the first pig was trying to accumulate the building materials for his home.

She read,"...And so the pig went up to the man with the wheelbarrow full of straw and said, "Pardon me sir, but may I have some of that straw to build my house?'"

The teacher paused then asked the class, "And what
do you think that man said?" One little boy raised his hand and said,

"I think he said "Holy Shit! A talking pig!" The teacher was unable to teach for the next 10 minutes...

I can't afford to play golf right now. Plus, I generally shoot about 100. No competition.

We can hustle some people:D

My brother and I used to hustle pool. Nothing big time, just dollar games and beer. He was killer good. I was just good enough that he could make me look great. No one wanted to play me so he always played them. Setup. Take down. :D

Aight, I'm about to be outta here for a few weeks. (training evolution and rifle range.) See ya'll sometime in April.....;)

Think about where you want to be in life. Then think about where you are. Be honest with yourself, afterall noone is going to know it but you. After you have those established decide how get from where you are to where you want to be.

Hope it gets better for you. When is your enlistment up? Is that causing you any stress in deciding whether to leave or re-enlist?

BTW: March 20, 3 days after I turn 18, I go to Baltimore to sign my DEP on the 21st. I'm enlisting as a combat engineer. Leave for bootcamp Aug 26 this year. It works out great. Bootcamp will be over, and I'll have my ten day leave which will have me home in time for Thanksgiving. Then after getting out of MCT, I'll be home for Christmas and New Years.

Sorry to butt in here... but it sounds like a hell of a plan.

Good luck to you brother... hope you enjoy the journey.
