yes blue this is true to a point, but in my opinion, they don't hype you because you are white black or whatever. they will hype you if you are the first of your kind usually. there was no big tough power white heavyweight at the time so they hyped tommy. when the klitscho brothers first came about they were hyped cause they were beating down blacks, they were the minority in the sport feel me. there size was worthy of the other athletes that were usually bigger than the white boxers. look at nash or yao in the nba. i think kobe or lebron deserved the mvp last year but nash gets it. i think cause he is a minority in the nba. yes yao is huge and deserved hype but he wasn't that good, he is huge and abnormal for chinese man. so they hype him, its all business. i think leagues are actually some of the best at making races equal. look at tennis, the hype is all over james blake now, not federer. why? cause blake is black like serena and tiger and they are waiting for him to take over the white sport. i really hope i don't sound racist. these are only my opinions. i think its just business, they are not trying to be racist but by singling out certain races they are in a harmless way. i think it is good for kids growing up to see there is no race when it comes to talent. sports bring out talent and heart and you cannot hide them with race. we tried it for years in the states but its over now. they hype athletes that are the first of their kind its easy money for endorsements and promoting leagues. i don't buy into the fact that morrison was hyped more than other fighters that were black, cause no one ever shuts up about jeff lacey the next great american fighter. he is black and got pummeled by the joe calzaghe who is far from black. lacey was easy to market, he looked like tyson, and seemed like he would go far. its business fellas, and race plays into it.
