What a pussy. Steve Moore, the guy he hit, is now in the hospital with two broken vertebrae. It was in retribution for Moore's hit on Canucks' captain Naslund earlier this year. If they don't jail him, he at least needs to be McSorley'ed - one year suspension and then when he finally comes back into the league, he's washed up.

The NHL will look really bad if they dont' come down on him hard. This was just as bad if not worse then what McSorley did a few years back and he got a year suspension. Guess we will find out if there is indeed a different rule book for elite players.

This is the problem when you allow fights, crosschecking all that BS. Then what do you do ? Where do you draw the line ? If Moore hadn't hit Naslund earlier, we wouldnt be talking about this. But the NHL with its outdated rules allow below-the-average players (goons) to have a job...

I don't wanna see fighting go, its the instigator rule that has to go. That way players can police themselves.


Fighting goes and so does half the hockey purists who enjoy watching hte game.
