If you aren't a technical lifter/powerlifter then yes that's alot. Don't try to play it off like 400 pounds isn't heavy.

Just kidding... 400 is a 15 to 20 rep weight for me... but then again I know that is very rare. I hardly see anyone squatting anymore. It's like it is cool to be skinny and pathetic nowadays. I am sure this trend will reverse itself in a few years.

it also depends on how you squat..

anyone can do 400lb knee jerks even chicks that dont squat..
just today i saw someone trying to copy me box squatting with 400+..problem was he had a box under im that had to be 18 inches and he wasnt even coming to close to even touching it..yet continued to pile on the 45's..absolutely pointless..then theres this chick who comes in and puts a 10 on each side and goes ass in the grass with pretty damn good form bangs out a few sets of 10-15..i got more respect for her than the dumbass doing 500

400lb squat isn't really that heavy.

It was a good article, not the usual "steroids are bad, Mkay?" line. But why was is slanted toward gays and posers? Models, guys in the Hamptons, looking for Brad Pitt abs, WTF?

Are these guys using all the juice in NYC, or are there actual athletes and bodybuilders that use this stuff too?

I could only imagine what the street prices are in MYC - people must be getting gouged left and right.

True... I see the knee jerk squatters and laugh my ass off. I go rock bottom. Actually, I have a hard time stopping at parralel. It seems to bother my knees more.

It's interesting to see a possible bias ... reporters (who I genuinely dislike more than politicians) are supposed to be objective but obviously the one(s) who wrote this story painted steroids as something very decadent

Its possible the story just "came out that way" but due to the wording I think it was slanted intentionally
