Been on test enan and eq for a few weeks now and have quit the drinkin. I will NEVER smoke, but chew a few times a day. Been tryin to cut up so if i'm hungry, just take a chew, and be fine for close to an hour. You think the stimulants in nicotine have a harmful effect on my training and diet? Anyone else chew??
 
While I don't have any scientific evidence to show any negative affects chew has on your diet and training, you know it can't be helping, plus it's obviously not good for your overall health.

This was discussed in the past..I also chew and I'm not sure how much it effects you but like anything..moderation is better then excess.
 
Well not to promote bad habits, but nicotine is a pretty good fat burner. Kills your appetite. There was an article in Muscular Development about a year ago about nicotine as a fat burner.
 
I also chew, and although i know its not good for my overall health, i highly doubt that its hindered any gains in the gym... and i agree that nicotine burns fat because i do lose a pound or two every so often and notice that i look slightly leaner, nuthin to be real excited about tho.. leave the fat burning up to clen
 
I used to dip when I played baseball, started in 7th grade. I quit years ago but started up for a short time this summer while playing in a intermural leauge at school. After going back it made me feel like shit: lightheaded, dehydrated. Threw my tin away for good, nasty stuff.
 
thats just fucking stupid, if your tryin to cut up u shouldn't stop eating. Do it fucking right and get on a diet. If u want to cut up u should be eating 7 meals aday. Not tryin to sound like a asshole but if your going to do something do it right.

I think he was referring to in between meals having a chew.
 
All it takes for me is to see guys that have half their face taken off around thir mouth from mouth cancer. No thanks - do yourselves a favor and quit.

Yeah no shit. this hapend to my friends dad. had half his tongue and all his gums and teeth removed. pretty fucking sick.

tobacco causes serious complications from long term use even when chewed. doesn't seem worth the risk of getting addicted.

Are you kidding me? Is there a difference? Most people who juice have commited to a healthy lifestyle with a solid nutritional plan and exercise schedule. Obviously not all, but I would say the majority who use tobacco are more likely to sit on there ass and do nothing.
 
IM tired of people telling others what to do......yes its harmfull...but if you want go for it...i perosnally quit smoking..but would not pressure others to do so..they kno wthe risks..if they choose to good for them..same thing with juice...DO ANY OF YOU ACTUALLY THINK ITS REALY HEALTHY...its not.....plese do not lie to yourselves....everyone is responsible for his own road....and yes i do realize the diference between stupid thinkgs liek smoking and jicing..ther eis one..but to each his own!

Steroids=Not really healthy, but a choice you make to accomplish the things you desire.
If one chooses to diet using nicotine, can you say that it is much worse than someone taking 150mg drol a day to put on mass? Give me a break and stop being hypocritical. Not to flame, your a good bro, but you gotta see the irony in it all. They both have long term health risks, and just because someone uses an alternate route to get to their goals doesnt make theirs wrong or worse trhan yours.

I dunno , profession baseball players commonly dip during games. I'm not the biggest baseball fan either. Didn't Cal Ripken dip?? Not promoting tobacco use , but I do know people who have smoked all thier lives and have never had a problem.

I'm not going to knock those that do

Why not to go for coffee instead? It is my appetite suppressant, without the risks of tobacco (like oral cancers with chewing).
Tobacco is bad man, no matter how you look at it. Tobacco extract contains at least 150 known cancer causing agents.
Someone called it a 'witch's brew'.
 
let's not forget people that nicotine constricts your blood vessels, robbing your muscles of the blood flow and nutrients that they need to grow. so yes, nicotine will inhibit your gains to an extent, whether by smoke or dip.

Nicotine does not contrict the blood vessels. It enlarges them. Nicotine causes new blood vessels to grow called angiogenesis.
