If your man worked 60 hours a week and was all in pain from his hard azz job, and you didnt work, when he got home will you rub his back to make him feel better or would you tell him off and say that you are tired too, becouse you had to chace the lil ones around the house for a sec. then watch TV?

My job is very hard and heavy work..... But I like my fam to be happy and injoy a good life, so I try to give them what ever I can,,,,,, no matter how much I have to work for it

I meen have a hart babe for god sake My back is killing me today LOL no realy it hurts.... I hope I make up to a nice back rub this will wake my day so much better..............

maybe she's not reading the board- try walking into whatever room she's in and asking her.

Perhaps, but if my man were stupid enough to come on a message board and make some passive aggressive bullshit thread about our personal life not only would he not get a back rub, he'd probably freeze to death from the cold attitude I'd be throwing.

I'm embarrassed for FG that you posted this thread. Get off your computer and go fecking talk to her about it rather than airing your whiny ass complaints here.

Oh, and this:

Get over yourself. I'm sure your wife and children appreciate what you do for them - and I'm sure FG shows you that appreciation. You have a martyr's complex, and it's not attractive. It quite honestly sounds like you you think that you do EVERYTHING and that FG's role in keeping your fmaily life running smoothly is miniscule to you. Perhaps you should have rubbed HER back?

A homemaker's job is a tough one. Trust me, I know.

Take turns rubbing each other's backs on select different days.

I get a deep tissue massage every Friday. Invest in a massage every week or two. It's well worth the money.

Find a local massage school in your area.....we have 2 here & the student massages are $25. Anyone can afford that....

Oh and if you asked for a massage like I owed it to you - then you ain't gettin' one....

Remember it's not always what you say - but HOW you say it.......

If you go to a spa - yeah, they are usually $100. We have 2 massage schools here where the students need "bodies" to practice on. The students are monitored by the instructors at all times. The regular massage is $25, deep tissue is $35. Plus we have a local hospital outpatient health center who does massages for $65.

You all might want to look into that. It's a win-win for all....

Man, I did that in my early years apprenticing, 60-70 hrs a week. You know what? I missed my baby girl growing up.
Not worth it.
Cut it back to 50 hrs. See the fambly more.
Stop whining. Work is what we do. It's our part of the equation.
Try doing her stuff for a week. It may not be as hard as your job, but it's probably harder than you think, more responsibility.

good post.

I've gone to my massage therapist weekly for 5+ years. She only charges me $35 an hour because I'm like family to her. It's well worth the money.
